UV-234 – powder form UV absorber for films and fibers
UV-234 is a high molecular weight UV absorber from the hydroxypheny benzotriazole class. It provides strong UV absorption in the 300-400 nm and minimal absorption in the visible Light spectrum, especially excellent protection in the 300-400 nm range where most Polymers are sensitive to UV degradations.
UV-234 also has the following advantages :
- good compatibility with a wide range of polymers.
- very low vapor pressure, low volatility even in high processing temperature.
- allowed for food contact applications.
- compatible for use with HALS and most antioxidants.
