Waterborne PU adhesive for fabric

2024/8/1
Physical properties

Show Details

Waterborne PU adhesive for fabric is suitable for various applications, such as roller-coating
lamination of nylon or polyester to PVC film or TPU film, knife-coating lamination for yarn bonding
and wind-proof treatment. When high heat resistance is required, a water-emulsifiable polyisocyanate
crosslinker (Fix-7062) can be added for optimal performance.

With low thermal activation temperature, these aqueous PU dispersions are easy to operate and
exhibit great water and hydrolysis-resistant properties. Their polymer film shows excellent
performance in water and hydrolysis resistance, and their surface exhibits a soft and pleasant touch
feeling after applying. The dispersions do not contain heavy metals or compounds and are compliant
with the SVHC of REACH requirement, making them environmentally friendly. Waterborne PU
adhesive for fabric also can be used in footwear industries, such as shoe adhesive formulation.

Characteristics:
Non-toxic & eco-friendly
Easy to use and process
Excellent bonding on varied fabric & film
High water and hydrolysis resistance
Comply with REACH requirements

Application:
Lamination of fabric layers: waterborne PU adhesive can be used to bond different layers of fabric
together, creating a composite material that has improved strength, durability, and water resistant properties.

Label and patch attachment: waterborne PU adhesive can be used to attach labels and patches onto
fabrics, providing a solid and durable bond that can withstand washing and wear.
Shoe assembly: Waterborne PU adhesive can be used to bond different parts of shoes together, such
as the sole, upper, and lining. It provides excellent adhesion to various materials, such as leather,
rubber, and fabric, and can withstand the stresses and strains of daily use.
Insole bonding: Waterborne PU adhesive can be used to attach the insole to the bottom of the shoe,
providing a comfortable and secure fit for the wearer. The adhesive is flexible and durable, ensuring
the insole stays in place over time.

Attention in use:
The product is sensitive to low temperature and must not be stored at temperature below 5°C.
Containers must be sealed otherwise the evaporation of water will result in the formation of a non-redispersible polymer film.

Packing:
20kg/pail or 200kg/drum.
