(Cold water soluble nonionic softener)
Softer VXDS-P is an excellent cold water soluble nonionic softener, which imparts a
smooth, soft hand feeling and anti-static properties on cotton, synthetic and its
blends.
As its excellent non-yellowing property, it can be used in fluorescent whitening fibers.

Physical properties:
Main component: Fatty acid derivative
Appearance: White pastille
Ionicity: Nonionic
pH (1% sol.): 8~10
Solubility: Can disperse completely in cold water

Characteristics:
Excellent soft hand feeling on cotton, synthetic and its blends.
Non-yellowing property and can use in fluorescent whitening fibers.
Can combine with most of the usual products used in finishing process.
Easy soluble in cold water, do not need heating facilities, easy handling and saving cost.

How to use:

1. Diluting method：
Softer VXDS-P is dissolved by 1 part to 9 part water, i.e. 10% solution.
(1). Cold water at 30 deg.C: adding the required quantity of water first and keep stirring. In
the meanwhile add Softer VXDS-P slowly and stirring for 2 hours until completely
dissolved.
(2). Warm water at 40~50 deg.C: with the same procedure and keep stirring for 1 hour
until completely dissolved.
Stirring must be continued during cooling in order to avoid the formation of a surface skin
which may contaminate the final product.

2. When diluting, the viscosity will be increased in the beginning and will be decreased
soon, the final product will be fluid liquid.

3. Softer VXDS-P depends on the type of fiber and the hand feeling required.
In general, Softer VXDS-P (10% sol.) is applied at 10 - 50 g/L.

Packing / storage:
25 Kg Bag, storage time 6 months in dry and cool place.
