SILICONE SOT-90 (No Solvent Environment-friendly Silicone Oil)

No Solvent Environment-friendly Silicone Oil Silicone SOT-90 is special process of modified ternary copolymer block silicone oil.

Advantage:
1. Give the fabric a super soft and smooth handfeeling.
2. High temperature resistance, acid and alkali resistance, high shear resistance, good stability.
3. Can be used in combination with fluffy silicone oil to get integrated handfeel.

Basic Character:
Appearance : transparent to light yellow liquid
Ionic : weak cationic
Solid Content : 89~91% (105°C, 3h)

Application:
The product has strong versatility and can process various fabrics such as cotton, polyester, nylon, etc.

Usage amount for reference:
Silicone SOT-90 diluted emulsion (20% solid content)
(1) Dipping Process : 1~5% (o.w.f.)
(2) Padding Process : 10~50g/l

Package:
100kg or 190kg drum

Storage:
Store in cool and ventilated warehouse. 6 months of storage period.

Dilute Method:
A. Formula:
Silicone SOT-90 : 170kg
Emulsifier : 30kg
Glacial acetic acid : 4kg
Water : 500kg

B. Dilute Process:
1. Add Silicone SOT-90，emulsifier to reactor, start stirring for 5-10 minutes;
2. Add 30kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes;
3. Add 30kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes, add 2 kg acid to stir for 5-10 minutes;
4. Add 30kg water to stir for 5 ~10minutes;
5. Add 30kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes; add 2 kg acid to stir for 5-10 minutes;
6. Add 50kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes;
7. Add 100kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes;
8. Add 100kg water to stir for 5~10 minutes;
9. Slowly add rest water while stirring, stir evenly for 5-10 minutes, add glacial acetic acid to adjust pH value to 5-6;
10. Filter and pack.

C. Notice:
1. Must use high speed machine, in last step, can add water slowly.
2. Emulsifier: recommend AEO-6 (or XL40:XL90=1:1)
3. When in cold weather, emulsifier is easy to freeze, heat and thaw before use.
