Enzyme F-838 is the high-performance, direct-to-use cellulase for denim stone-washing. Enzyme F-838 is environmental-friendly and allow new shades and finishes to be created easily and cost effectively.
Enzyme F-838 HC is the high concentration of Enzyme F-838 and its enzymatic unit is about 20 times higher than Enzyme F-838.

Main component: Blend of enzyme & auxiliaries.
pH value (1% solution): 6.5~7.0
Application :
Enzyme F-838 is fully-formulated, ready-to-use product for denim stone washing.
Enzyme F-838 is formulated with anti-redeposition agents to ensure minimal back staining.
Enzyme F-838 needs no further auxiliaries, and is buffered with a phosphate buffering system aimed at maintaining pH 6-8 during washing (i.e. 1% o.w.f. pH=6.5~7.0, 2% o.w.f. pH=5.5~6.0).
Recommended using recipe of Enzyme F-838 :
Enzyme F-838: 1.0~2.0% o.w.g. (on the weight of garment)
Liquor ratio: 1:8~1:20
Treatment time: 20~60 min.
Temperature: 30~60 deg.C
pH: 6.5~7.5
Note: The enzymatic treatment should be terminated by a thorough detergent wash-off.
For complete inactivation, run for 15 min with 1-2 g/l sodium carbonate (pH.10) at 80°C.
Recommended formulated / Dilution recipe of Enzyme F-838 H/C :
Finish F-838 HC: 2~10%
Buffer salts: 10~30%
Non-ionic Surfactant: 0~20%
Filler: 0~30%
Conditioner: 0~5%
Buffer salts: STPP (Sodium tripolyphosphate) at 10~15% or DHP (Disodium hydrogen phosphate) at 10~20%, and anhydrous citric acid at 5~10%.
Surfactant: such as anti-back staining agent at 5~15%
Filler: water soluble such as sodium sulphate
Conditioner: Starch and silicates
The dosage of Finish F-838HC is adjustable as per the color contrast and abrasion effect.
Packing :
40kgs fiber drum.
Storage :
Enzymes gradually lose activity over time depending on storage temperature.
Cool conditions are recommended. When stored in closed containers at 25°C, the product
will maintain its declared activity for at least 3 months.
Extended storage and/or adverse conditions, including higher temperatures, may lead to a higher dosage requirement.
Safety in use :
Enzymes are proteins, and inhalation of dust or aerosols may induce sensitization, and may cause allergic reactions in sensitized individuals. Some enzymes may irritate the skin, eyes, and mucous membranes upon prolonged contact. The product may create easily inhaled aerosols if splashed or vigorously stirred. Spilled product may dry out and create dust. Spilled material should be flushed away with water.
Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection as prescribed on the warning label. Wash contaminated clothes.
