Enzyme AL-15, Bio-polish Enzyme – Acid

Enzyme AL-15 is an engineered cellulase designed for textile applications such as fabric and garment biofinishing (i.e. depilling, surface modifications and softening) and is supplied as a concentrated liquid.
Enzyme AL-15 is also suitable for denim washing.

Properties:
Appearance: clear amber liquid
Specific gravity: 1.10~1.20
Characteristics:
Concentrated product can be used directly or further dilution.
Very good performance/price ratio.
Good color retention.
Good de-pilling effect.
Relatively low strength loss.
Soften handle with greater drapability.

Application:
Enzyme AL-15 is suitable for biofinishing (i.e. softening, surface fiber removal, depilling) of various types of cellulosic fabrics and garments. Biopolishing can be arranged either before or after dying, depending on the desired effects.

Typical biopolishing conditions,
Equipment: overflow, winch, jet dying machines or laundry washer.
Dosage 0.3-0.8% o.w.f, (0.5-0.7% o.w.f is recommended.)
Liquor ratio 1:5 – 1:20
pH 4.5 – 6.0
TMP 40 - 55°C
Treatment time 30 - 60 mins.
